some artsy fartsy short film (they speak french) by this UK band called the bullitts. never heard of them before. apparently, they recorded an album that features mos def, jay electronica (credited for the music in the film) and tori amos among others. you won't find much more info on their website, which makes me wonder: does discretion generate buzz, nowadays?

alors, j'ai visionné la quasi totalité des contributions pour le "STONES THROW VIDEO CONTEST", concours qui offre au vainqueur la possibilité de réaliser un clip pour un futur projet stones throw. si la plupart des réalisateurs inscrits se sont inspirés d'images d'archives pour le visuel, le finlandais tuomas vaukhonen a développé une vraie mise en scène pour un rendu totalement en phase avec le titre du morceau choisi, "last donut of the night" de j dilla. qui plus est, il y a eu un réel souci du détail dans le travail du son et de l'image. (bémol: la chute du voleur, pas crédible). Les résultats ne devraient pas tarder à tomber (début août). moi perso, j'ai fait mon choix.
